The Vancouver Sailing Club (VSC) exists for people with a passion for sailing and the adventure it brings into our lives. Our club recognizes  2-year memberships providing preferred access to all VSC resources and programs:

• World-class internationally recognized ASA LEARN-TO-SAIL instruction program for Basic Keelboat Sailing, Coastal Cruising, Offshore and Coastal Navigation certifications
• Weekday and weekend cruises in English Bay, Indian Arm, Gulf Islands, Desolation Sound and San Juan Islands
• LEARN-TO-RACE program includes Competent Racing Crew and Coastal Racing Skipper endorsements and plenty of on-the-water
• VARC weekends, English Bay Summer Wed. & Thurs. evening keelboat racing and year round  J29 & J24 racing
• Marine First Aid and CPR  courses
• Bareboat and Skippered Charters - Beneteau First 36.7 One Design racing/ cruising yacht, Mason 43 off-shore and coastal cruiser J29 weekend cruiser and One Design Racer and  J24 day sailor and one design keelboat  
• BC and International Adventure Cruising and Adventure Racing
• Access to our Members Only website for reservations and scheduling sailing

VSC Sailing Tokens

We have created our own sailing currency to help our members find a sailing lifestyle that fits their unique needs to balance recreation, family and career.  Tokens are exchanged for registrations in all VSC instruction  programs, Sailing Adventures and Bareboat Sailing.

Our VSC tokens are valued at $100 and purchased by members in any quantity at discounted prices based on  VSC membership.

VSC Sailing tokens are transferable as unique, fun gifts for recognizing birthdays, special occasions  family, friends and  business associates.

Cruise  Membership ^ top

You have taken the first steps to learning how to sail and want more challenging week-end or week- long cruises. Sailing fascinates you and you want to understand where it can take you. You are pursuing ASA or CYA certification for qualification to eventually purchase your own boat or charter yachts internationally

Includes:

1. Preferred access to ASA instruction, Vancouver- based day sailing, BC and WA coastal racing and cruising
2. Twenty (20) VSC Sailing Tokens
3. VSC Logo sailing cap and Davis rigger's knife with fid
4. 20% discount for additional VSC Sailing Tokens and Ships Stores

2008/ 2009 Membership: $ 1,575 CAN

Race Membership ^ top

You enjoy the adventure and camaraderie of racing. Join to participate as valued crew and the opportunities to develop your abilities and meet people that share your passion to go fast.

Pre-requisites: completed Basic Keelboat Sailing or day sailor Certification or Equivalent

Includes:

1. Preferred access to all VSC Learn-2-Sail and Learn-2-Race Programs
2. Enrollment in VSC Competent Keelboat Racing Crew Program ($675 value)
3. Sixteen (12) VSC Sailing Tokens for racing on Beneteau First 36.7, J29, J24 yachts
4. VSC Logo embroidered sailing cap, T-Shirt and Harken sailing gloves
5. 20% discount on additional VSC Sailing Tokens

2008/ 2009 Fee: $1575 CAN

Student  Membership ^ top

Sailing is very very cool- especially in BC. You are enrolled in a full-time University or College program and want some outdoor adventure to enhance your Vancouver experience. To choose between the rad rush of racing or the beauty and serenity of cruising is too difficult at this point so you will do some of both.

Includes: 

1. Preferred access to all VSC Learn-2-Sail and Learn-2-Race Programs
2. Twenty (20) VSC Sailing Tokens for Chartering, crewing and instruction ($2000 value)
3. VSC Logo embroidered sailing cap, T-shirt and Davis riggers knife with fid
4. 25% discount for additional VSC Sailing Tokens

2008/ 2009 Membership: $ 1,275 

VIP Corporate Membership ^ top

Pre-requisites: Company assigned Sailing Coordinator  ( ask us about this position)

Includes:

1. Use the Blue Room at Stamps Landing Pub overlooking Vancouver's False Creek for business meetings, 40+ capacity, full bar and food service available for a special meeting and after work functions
2. Skippered Vancouver, Gulf Islands or Anacortes WA based Charters for up to 15 guests ( 2 yachts)
3. VIP Corporate Cruises for high impact Marketing and Sales Activities
4. Mentor/ trainers for Corporate Team Building
5. fifty (50) VSC Sailing Tokens
6. Participation and logo display for two (2) BC Charity Regattas ( requires min. $200 donation to registered )
7. VSC Logo sailing caps for each participant ( ask us about adding you logo)
8. 10% discount on additional VSC Sailing Tokens
