2012 VSC Skipper's Club Membership

The  skills, knowledge, seamanship and experience to become a Coastal Skipper are included in this membership. Your goal is to own a 30-50 foot long sailboat or to  bareboat charter internationally with the Moorings, Sunsail, TMM and others. The knowledge, seamanship and experience to sail with confidence in moderate conditions with safety.

Skippers Club Membership includes the following:

  1. ASA103 Basic Coastal Cruising Standard, ASA104 Bareboat Chartering Standard & ASA105 Coastal Cruising in a seven (7) day Cruise & Learn ( Desolation Sound or Gulf Islands passage itinaries) or Weekend course formats
  2. solo experience- 3 Days/ 2 nights Bareboat Charter of Beneteau First 36.7 
  3. Local ASA Sailing Club Membership- casual sailing year long as skipper and crew
  4. VSC Logo Coastal Sailing Jacket, Sailing Cap, Sailing Gloves and Knife
  5. All earned ASA Sailing Certification fees

Basic Annual Membership fee is  $3675 or

$1050 at joining and $350 for following  9 months

Option 2  ASA Spinnaker Endorsement Weekend course $ 145

Option 3   VSC Racing Club 1- includes  4 Racing Endorsements $ 675

Option 4   ASA114 Caribbean  Cruising Catamaran Cruise & Learn uplift $ 1455

Option 5   Additional Skippers Membership for your spouse, friend or family member $2975
