For many people and couples, one of the most daunting aspects of leaning how to sail in Vancouver is getting local access to boats and other sailiors to practice with. If you don't own a sailboat or know sailors in your area, these obstacles can be tricky to overcome- money, time and energy sometimes work against you.

Our  goal is taking the stress and cost out of sailing, helping you get out on the water often- having more fun is what it's all about.

2012 ASA Sailing Club is $ 975 per person plus HST and includes:

  1. One (1) Sailing Weekend- 2 day/ 1 night Skippered cruise to Howe Sound and Gambier Island- leave Vancouver's False Creek in the morning, anchor at Port Browning or Plumper Cove, Keats Is. and return the next day at 4pm  
  2. English Bay Evening or Afternoon sails (2 per month)  during April- October (14 sails in total) aboard our J-Boats or Beneteau First 36.7 Yachts
  3. Monthly Mast Meet-  the first Friday of each month meet at our Granville Island Clubhouse at 9 pm, bring a friend and a beverage for our sailing social and Videos
  4. VSC LOGO Coastal Jacket , Sailing Cap with tether, Harken Gloves

Option 1- Add two (2) days Long Distance Racing $275 plus HST

Option  2- Add three day Beneteau 36 ft  bareboat charter for $ 1450 plus HST

Option 3- Add one ASA Learn-to-Sail & Cruise (ASA101,103 or 104)  course with Certification, ASA Mermbership, one year Subscription to SAILING magazine, and prestudy package $525 plus HST
