Desolation Sound
A massive protected park, Desolation Sound offers majestic
fjords, towering peaks, cascading waterfalls, pristine lakes,
and countless well-protected anchorages. Minimal development
creates a true feeling of unspoiled wilderness.
Summer sun and meeting tides create warm water up to 75
degrees F (22 degrees C).
There are many spectacular routes through this maze of
islands. You may also travel 30 to 40 miles up the B.C.
mainland canyons of Toba and Bute Inlets.
