About:
ClaraALLEGRO and NorWester, our pristine 36 foot Beneteau FIRST Bowen Island sailing yachts take individuals, couples and your party of up to 9 (one boat) or 18(two boats) to one of BC's most picturesque passages- from Vancouver's English Bay to the snow topped mountains of Howe Sound and West Vancouver.
Step aboard at 8:30am for a safety review and then help sail our yacht along the southern shore of English Bay, Kitsilano, Jericho Beach Point Grey and then north to Passage Island and Howe Sound. Take a lesson form a certified VSC Instuctor/ Skipper or just sit back and take- in the mountains, sea and abundant wildlife surrounding you.
At 12 noon we dock our yacht at the Union Steamship Marina on Bowen Island and take a short walk to the quaint Village of Snug Cove. There are 4 excellent cafe/ restaurants to choose from. We will make your reservations.
It's 1:30pm, we cast-off our lines and get underway to Howe Sound. With a moderate sea-breeze we trim our jib and mainsail for a fast broad-reach past Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, Point Atlinson Lighthouse Park, Dundarave, the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park- arriving back at Granville Island at 4:30 pm.
In the event of adverse weather we reserve the right to substitute for the Deep Cove, Indian Arm destination.
