Antigua Classic Yacht Race  1 Berth Available   April 15-21, 2010

Come for the challenge & excitement of crewing on a 112 ft schooner in the largest annual Caribbean classic sailing yacht regatta. Enjoy the warm trade winds, sunshine and hospitality of Antigua, a sailors paradise . . . .

The Vancouver Sailing Club (VSC) has assembled a crew to race in one of the worlds most sought after Caribbean sailing venues- Antigua.

Led by our professional skipper Capt. Travis Yates, VSC President Carl Richardson & 3 sailing instructors, our group of up to 10 sailors will form the nucleus for a sailing adventure to be cherished for a lifetime.

For seven sunny days, VSC's Caribbean clubhouse, live-aboard charter and classic racing yacht is the 112 foot schooner, S/Y ARGO

ARGO is a Marconi- rigged schooner which annually circumnavigates the world as an adventure sailing vessel offering internationally recognized university course credits in marine and ecological sciences.

Built in 2006, ARGO is one of the newest and most modern of the Tall Ships sailing the world’s oceans today. With sail training by her permanent crew, we will find her fast, competitive and fascinating to sail.

ARGO has been designed to be both comfortable and exhilarating underway and will make a great dockside party venue after the race!
